Hi all,
I Wonder where i can buy the tuch screen without all the PCB that sell Adafruit?
When I click on the link that they give :https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/datasheets/MI0283QT-11+V1.1.PDF, I can't say if this screen has the "capacitiv tuch" inside?
the connector and the design of the cable isn't the same as the one they put on there https://www.adafruit.com/product/2423.
Does Adafruit change the screen by adding the tuching part?
I hope i'm clear.
Best regards

We don't sell the capacitive version by itself, but we do have the resistive version:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/1774
Both the resistive and capacitive touchscreen encoders are separate devices, but they're bonded to the surface of the TFT at the factory.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
So as I understand the https://www.adafruit.com/product/1774,
Is the same for the capacitiv and resistiv screen.
You add, at the "factory of the screen" some hardware to then provide a capacitiv ou resistiv screen.
Is it right?
if yes, if i buy the https://www.adafruit.com/product/1774, will i be able to manage the tuching part?
If you agree, I'll try to explain my objectif.
I would like to take the https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pit ... /downloads, to
modifiy the PCB to kick out the capacitiv part and replace the pin header by a flat-cable-connector.
So if i let all the connection and just change some "vias", will it work with the screen https://www.adafruit.com/product/1774, or do you add some change on it before put it on your board?
i hope i've made myself clear enough
Best regards

PID 1774 will work with the PiTFT PCB layout.
