omg, where do I find someone to answer a "what are you selli

Post by adamgoldberg »

I think it might be impossible to ask a question of Adafruit directly.

Can anyone help?

This page, https://www.adafruit.com/product/2656, is the 12" standard liquid level sensor with plastic casing ... which is terrific. But Milone sells it in two versions, one with a resistive output, one with a 0-5V output. They're BOTH listed in the "Technical Details" section of the page (with these links:

http://www.original.milonetech.com/uplo ... -17-17.pdf
https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/product-f ... asheet.pdf

I want the 0-5V one (see the first link, in particular the third page):

Code: Select all

Complete eTape Assemblies
If you purchase a complete assembly with the polycarbonate tube and housing cap, the 0-5V
module will come pre-calibrated and potted inside the black housing cap.
Which one is Adafruit selling? Both? How do I indicate which one I want?

It is quite possible. In fact you just did. :-)

I will check the units in stock to see if the #2656 sensor includes the 0v-5v interface module.

yep you're correct - the encased versions give you a voltage out
you can even see in the video - we read the analog voltage directly!
