PiTFT White Screen Pigrrl Zero
So I made the Pigrrl Zero, and originally had this white screen problem but it was fixed with a replacement pitft since the previous pitft was an error batch. Now, onto this pitft and everything seemed to be working fine and booted correctly every time. When I was putting on finishing touches the whole case fell from my workplace and both power and ground wires disconnected from the raspberry pi (the system was powered off at this happening). I resoldered the wires but when I turned the pi on again the power wasnt a solid connection as noted by the screen flickering and the powerboost circuit led flickering. The red power wire had sustained damage and thinned too much. So I cut a new wire and replaced it. Now the pi turns on and the screen as well, with constant power noted by the powerboosts led. However, the screen on the pitft just goes white and does nothing no matter how long the wait is. Also, the pi gets significantly warm on the back during this whole thing. Did the screen or pi get damaged when I turned it on with the faulty power wire? My new connections are solid and no wires appear to be touching. I should add, nothing else appears disconnected or should have been damaged in the fall, they were all strapped in and the only connection vulnerable was the power connection between the bottom and top case. Thanks for any and all help!

If the RasPi is getting hot, it sounds like there may have been some other damage.
What voltages do you see on the 5V and 3.3V GPIO pins?

Re: PiTFT White Screen Pigrrl Zero
Good news! somehow, it turned on a worked mysteriously on my last try. the pin labeled 5V was getting 5.17V so that checked out, and the 3.3V also was running at 3.3V. I have no idea what caused this to suddenly work again, but it has booted correctly twice now. This still concerns me though as the problem may still be there. The green light from the raspi before looked to be flickering where now when it boots correctly it is solid. Should I go ahead and cut a new ground wire as maybe that was damaged slightly in the fall too?

Glad to hear it's working for you!
Replacing the ground wire can't hurt. If you think it's worth making sure, go for it.
