We don't make that one, and don't have any documentation for it. We just get them as assembled units.

How long will this product be available for sale?

Will it be discontinued anytime soon?

We don't have any roadmap for them. They sell well, but we pick them up on the secondary market. We don't contract to have them made specifically for us.

Does the camera date & time stamp photos & video when the photo or video is taken?

No, it doesn't have any way to tell time. It's just a camera.

Does the SD Card need to be formatted?

If so what format does it need to be formatted to?

If it needs to be formatted what will I need to format it?

How can pics & videos be viewed on a pc? What program is needed? What file type do the pics & video come in?

The SD card needs to be formatted with the FAT system, but most SD cards are formatted that way at the factory. If you need to reformat the card, you can do it from any desktop computer.

The pictures and video are saved as normal files on the SD card, so you can use whatever programs you normally use.

Happy New Year!

In your last post you mentioned how the files can be viewed.

Would Windows Media Player be able to display the pics & video?

What programs are you aware of that can view these pics & videos?

Probably. Try it and see.

Once they're on the SD card, the images and video are no different from image and video files you get anywhere else.

Do you know the framerate for the spy camera?

Not offhand. We don't have any documentation for them, so there's no guarantee it will remain the same from one batch to the next, or even from one video capture to the next. It depends on the firmware.

Question for when this is configured as a camera: If the camera is over exposed to light while taking picturers will the images come out dull, off color, not crisp or clear like any other photo?

I tested one last night & the images did not come out like any other camera picture. Iy was dull, limited to colors, not crisp, clear or full of color.

I did have a table lamp pointed at it from 3 feet away. I'm thinking that it was overexposed to too much light.

For the second test Im going to keep the original light off & use another one from the other side of the room.

If its not that then I'll lower the input voltage.

I was running it off of 5VDC. Im thinking about lowering the input voltage & trying again.

If that won't fix it I'll try another SD Card & see what happens.

I might even clean the camera lense with jyst a little bit of soap & water from a damp paper towel before I change anything else.
