Seeking Programmable RGBW for light project

by Meaker on Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:48 am

Dear reader,

Thanks for taking the time:-)
I'm looking for a programmable led-strip RGBW for a light project we are working on.
For a light armature we are designing I need the following specs:
- Addressable RGBW (white around 2700-3000K)
- Per led programmable as RGBW
- at least 60 leds/meter
- a high as possible CRI value
- working on 12 Volt
- I will be working with lengths of 2 meter per armature.
- the strip does not have to be waterproof

Could you advise me what quality led-strips would best suite this project?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

I don't think you'll find anything with individually-programmable LEDs that operates from a 12V supply. All of the programmable LEDs we know use 5V-CMOS chips as PWM controllers, so supply voltages higher than about 7V will kill them.
