product selection

by pjlucas on Fri Jul 26, 2019 1:39 pm

I am so overwhelmed by all the choices! I would like some help in deciding what is the best option for my project. I would like to have a pressure sensor collect data when it is "woken up" for a sleep cycle due to movement. Also, waterproof would be needed as well. Sleep is necessary to maintain battery life. I would like the unit to collect data for up to a month and either store it, or wirelessly transmit it via Bluetooth or radio or something else.
I saw several boards that might work, but I don't know which would be best. I need it to be less than 23 mm wide, and up to 2 or 3 inches in length, and no wider than 23 mm.

Does anyone have any suggestions to my best options?

Thanks,
Pat

A Trinket M0 should work for the processor. What do you plan to use for the pressure sensor?

I donโ€™t have one picked out. I was hoping Adafruit had one to add to the board.

Does the Trinket MO have an accelometer built in, or do I need to add one? I want the sensor to "wake up" when it detects motion or movement.

The Trinket M0 does not have an accelerometer built-in.

Can I add an accelometer board to it?
