Almost all servos come with a 3-pin connector. But if you prefer to solder it, you can just cut off the connector and strip the ends of the wires.

So I got to solder a lcd. I think there are solderable lcd’s. Is there? Can you send me a link or just tell me a lcd that you would recommend for me?

Are you looking for a character LCD or a graphical LCD?
What do you need to display on it?

Character displays can display just characters:

Graphical displays can display text (in multiple sizes) as well as images and graphics.

I need one like the current one that I have that I can solder. Mine right now is a 12C Lcd Display and it is 16 by 2. Mine can display some graphics, but I really just use it for characters( numbers and letters).

Looks like your code is written to use a character display with an i2c backpack. The backpack comes with screw-terminals for connections, but you can solder the connections instead if desired.

I don’t think my product is any of those. Here is a picture. Doesn’t it look like everything is soldered up all ready? If not can you tell me what you recommend for me to do to solder it?

I'm not familiar with that product. But it looks like it has connections for SDA, SCL GND and VCC - just like your sensors.

Just keep in mind that your display wiring will also be part of the i2c bus. So you should keep the wiring as short as possible to avoid problems.

Looks like there are solder holes for GND, VCC, SDA and SCL on that board.

Connect wires from:
GND -> GND
5v ->VCC
SDA -> SDA
SCL -> SCL

You mean the holes right beside the pins to connect breadboard wires on the right side of the backpack?

Or do you mean the holes over here on the left side? Does it matter?

Or is are the holes you are talking about neither of any of the holes I am pointing to above?

That is not one of our products, so I can only go by what is printed on the board. It looks like the same signals are available on both ends of the board. But I'm not sure about that green jumper on the upper left. It looks like it is creating a short circuit between GND and VCC. Sunfounder should have instructions for the board on their website.

They said the blue screw thing is a back light adjustment. Do you know what that means. I kind of want to be able to take off the backpack so I can solder it better onto it.

Probably a potentiometer to adjust the contrast of the display. https://learn.adafruit.com/character-lc ... 2973887-14
