Powerboost 500 and PWM feather

by sagnesin on Thu Jun 11, 2020 2:08 pm

So I'm doing a project with an 8 channel PWM featherwing and I want to use the _owerboost 500 basic to get me to the 5V input i need for the servo power supply. The problem is that when I connect the battery to the powerboost, even when nothing else is connected, the powerboost lights up for a second, gets really hot, and then both lights go off and it cools down. Even when I connect the + and - terminals on the powerboost to the PWM board and try to run a servo test, this happens or nothing happens at all. What should I do about it? My other option is to skip the pwm board entirely and do some extra soldering on a regular protoboard featherwing.
