TPL5110 only works on PCB with a large capacitor.

Hello,

I keep running into a problem with the TPL5110 where when used on a breadboard, it works perfectly. However, any time it is used on a PCB it will not work unless I put a 330uF, 470uF, or larger capacitor between the DRV and ground pins. I know breadboards carry a small stray capacitance in the picofarads, so why do I need such a large cap on my PCB's? Even with the extra cap, it still only works sporadically and cannot find a fix to my issue without just sticking with a breadboard.

My components if you are wondering are:
-Adafruit TPL 5110
-Adafruit Addalogger M0
-Adafruit PCF 8523
-lots of photoresistors.
