New here! About to start the process of creating the Zelda Sword.
Because the Adafruit Feather M4 Express is out of stock, I was wondering what the best alternative would be?
I'm also looking for alternatives for the 8 Ohm 1 Watt Mini Oval Speaker and the STEMMA JST PH 3-Pin to Male Header Cable.
I'm trying to stick to all Adafruit components if possible but will take other recommendations!
Thank you in advance!

Re: feather m4 alternative
I would have a look at digikey https://www.digikey.com/products/en?mpart=3857&v=1528, as they seem to have some in stock. I would hesitate to try using a Feather M0, there a non-trivial amount of code. A Feather nRF52840 will probably work fine, and most likey a Feather STM32F405 as they have a comparable MCU core and plenty of memory.
For the speaker, you can always get the connector/cable https://www.adafruit.com/product/3922 and connect any suitable 8 ohm speaker, or extend the cable on https://www.adafruit.com/product/4227 (if it's too short).
As for the JST-3 cable, you solder onto the male ends so they aren't important. You can use the JST-3 to female cable https://www.adafruit.com/product/3894 and remove the black plastic pin guards and solder to the connectors (or cut them off and solder directly to the wires (better in general).
As with the Feather, Digikey seems to have the speaker and cable in stock.

Re: feather m4 alternative
Thanks again for your time. I am a crafter with some electronic knowledge, but this is my first attempt at this elaborate of a build, so bear with me.
I was wondering if there is a less expensive alternative to the Mini Skinny NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Strip that would work? The tutorial doesn't say if that style was required for the sword build,
or if any sort of LED strip would work for this.
Thanks again
Brian

Technically, any NeoPixel strip will work with minimal or no code changes. The mini skinny might have been used due to space constraints. I'm checking with the folks that designed the project.

I heard back from the project's designers and, yes, the thinner NeoPixel strip was used due to space constraints.
