Microcontroller for Particle Counter

by mediopolis on Sun Jul 05, 2020 1:38 pm

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to build a little particle counter with some extra sensors as well, so I could put them in a few places around my home. Take a look at my list and see if I'm missing any modules. Do I need a fan to suck in the air? or does the SDS30 have one built-in? Do I need a specific module to keep the lipo charged, or can the pi4 do that?

Microcontroller - Raspberry Pi 4
Particle Sensor Sensirion-SDS30
Display - Pimoroni HyperPixel 4"
Temp Sensor - Adafruit MCP9808
Humidity Sensor - Adafruit Sensirion SHT31-D
TVOC Sensor - Adafruit Sensirion SGP30

I'd like to include the ability to charge my lipo while plugged into the wall. I attached a mockup of my UI. I want to build it simple at first.. turn on and get readings. But eventually add the ability to connect to my wifi and gather data over my network.

Thanks for any input!
