How long should I wait for a response via the forum? If this unit is defective....I want to get the return in the works for get a replacement. I assume if PWR LED is lit, and press and hold reset button for ~3 sec, the board should reset. It does not.
Next action?

Hesterry: Please email support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one Metro 328.

Well, I received a replacement, and I'm still having the same problem.

Latest error log: https://pastebin.com/XyrmKd4q

It says the board isn't connected, but it's clearing showing up as "Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge", and I've selected the right COM port.

I should probably also note that the box it came in was crushed pretty flat, but the board does appear to boot correctly and blink the red LED as normal... I just can't seem to write to it.
