#4382 #2869 Certificates

Post by NELSF93 »

Dear Adafruit Team,

I plan to purchase the following parts from you Adafruit #4382 Feather STM32F405 Express and ADAFRUIT #2869 NeoPixel Stick - 8 x 5050 RGBW LEDs - Cool White - ~6000K.
We are in need of having certificates and ideally tests reports of UL, REACH and ROHS. Would you be able to get that for me?
Regarding the #2869, I can see an UL number in the PCB. Does the #4382 has any UL94 V-0 mark in the printed circuit board ?

Thanks in advance for all your support,
NFE

UL testing has a lot of contingencies, and the tests have to be done on a complete system. You'll have to check with your testing house or a consultant about the set of tests you'll need.

We can provide RoHS certs though. Send a note containing a link to this page to [email protected] and the folks there will help you.

Hi,

Hope you are well. We have ordered many units of PRODUCT ID: 2868 for our projects and we observe that the UL File Number E466616 printed in the circuit does not appear in the UL database.

E466616
Product iQ | Search (ulprospector.com)

Do you know why? And do you have any documentation related to UL ?

Thanks in advance,

We don't do UL ratings for devices we build.. the testing requirements are specific enough that they wouldn't carry over to most devices/products that include them. We provide RoHS certification because that only depends on manufacturing conditions under our control.

If you need any kind of certification, we strongly suggest working with a consulting engineer who specialzes in compliance and testing. There's a *lot* to know.

Hi,

Understood. The question was about the fact that the PCB shows an UL File Number (E466616) and UR mark but this number does not exist in the official UL website.
In resume, where can we find the conformities between the description marked in the PCB and the associated UL files?

Reminder:
Bottom of the #2869 shows:
Hight Density NeoPixel
L-DC 94V-0
UR E466616
1926

Thanks in advance,
