How to read Inductor?

by Kakesh on Mon Oct 18, 2010 4:48 pm

I have 2 inductors one has 221 on it another 680 on it. I just not sure inductance of 221 is 22 or 221 mH, and 680 - 68 or 680 mH. If somebody knows for sure please reply here. And do you know a good store that sell them by one piece not by 10s or 100s?

Usually the third digit is "how many zeros". So 221 = 220uH and 680 = 68uH

Digikey and Mouser are obvious sources that sell 1 piece.
