Adafruit MPU-6050 6-DoF Accel and Gyro Sensor MAX INPUT VOLT

Hi, I need to know if the Adafruit MPU-6050 6-DoF Accel and Gyro Sensor (3886) can be powered with 5.5V. Technical specifications of the component do not say so.

The board is designed and tested to work with a 3v-5v power source: https://learn.adafruit.com/mpu6050-6-do ... -3044770-2

Looking at the data sheet for the regulator on the board: The maximum recommended supply voltage is 6v, so in theory, it should work with 5.5v.

Note that SDA and SCL are both pulled high to VCC. So if powering with 5.5v, make sure that your microcontroller can handle 5.5v on the i2c bus.
