Power Supply

Here is the project I could use some help with:
I am restoring a vintage 80's "Synare" drum synthesizer, one of those "piew-piew" disco drums. It runs on two 9v batteries believe it or not. I can easily mod this to accept input from an external transformer. However the schematics call for something with 18v to 20v max. So I wanted to find a power regulator circuit that would take input up to 24v (common DC transformer) and regulate it down to nice clean DC at 20v. Looking around here I didn't see anything helpful right away. Ideally I could use a pre-built or canned module that could be added to the inside of the drum and powered by a jack installed on the chassis.
Any advice and/or direction to useful circuit would be great.

Thanks!

We don't carry any power supplies with more than 12v. I'd check with DigiKey or Mouser. They will have a huge selection.
