Temperature ratings on Electromagnet

by lahaden on Thu May 13, 2021 3:36 pm

Hello,

I have an application that requires an electromagnet to operate between -50C to +100C. I've purchased a few of your P20/15 5V 2.5Kg electromagnets to try out, but there is no operating temperature range provided with the spec for that electromagnet. I'm wondering if anyone is aware of what kind of temperature range these electromagnets might operate at? I'll test them in a temperature chamber to see if they'll hold up, but if I'm wasting my time it would be good to know before spending the effort to test them.

Thanks.

@lahaden,

I dug around looking for a datasheet for the P20/15 5v (2.5Kg). I was not able to find the specific temperature specs you are looking for.

I was able to find some blurbs related to the product by ELECALL ELE-P20/15

* Ambient temperature within 130 degrees.
* Electromagnet in working condition electromagnetic conversion would produce a certain amount of heat, electricity more frequently the higher temperature, which is a normal phenomenon.
