I have the opportunity to buy a 32GB Class 10 U3 microSD card for about the same price as a "standard" class 10 card.
I was wondering if I will notice any speed increase with this card in my Raspberry Pi 3B+ ?
I currently have a 2GB cache set up for compiling purposes.

Re: 32GB Class 10 U3 microSD card
The speed difference should be 10MB/s for a normal class 10 and 30MB/s for the U3.
I upgraded all my Raspberry Pi's to boot from USB3 SSD drives and I get 300MB/s.
If you can use the write speed it is really nice to have. I find the Pi's intolerable using anything below 10MB/s.

Thanks for the info.
FYI you can order the U3 cards from Walmart online for about $21 CDN
