I recently bought the adafruit PN532 RFID/NFC Shield.
When I plug it in the power led does not light up.
The test programm from the adafruit tutorial doesen't work as well.
It says that no SPI connection is found.
I also measured with a multimeter that the 3,3V are connected right, but the board didn’t respond.
What can I do?

Post a photo showing your hardware and connections and we'll take a look. 800x600 images usually work best.

On the other side I have connected the NFC Reader with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ via Jumper Wire.
Pi 3V to3.3V
Pi GND to GND
Pi MOSI to MOSI
Pi MISO to MISO
Pi SCLK to SCK
Pi D5 to SS
Pi 3V to3.3V
Pi GND to GND
Pi MOSI to MOSI
Pi MISO to MISO
Pi SCLK to SCK
Pi D5 to SS

As a sanity check, what voltage do you see between the 3.3V and GND pins parallel to the ones with the wire connections?

Measuring with the multimeter I see the 3.3V at the free conection points.

Okay, that confirms basic power in the wiring.
Try connecting power to the 5V pin instead of the 3.3V pin. See if that makes the power LED light.

That was my next question:
@officialPiUser: now that the PN532 breakout's power is good, can you control it from the RasPi?

Yes.
I can controll it with the Pi and it recognizes the NFC Tags.

I have been trying to get it to work for a while nowofficialPiUser wrote:Yes.

I have the same connection you have
Pi 5 v to 5v
Pi Gnd to Gnd
Pi MOSI to MOSI
Pi MISO to MISO
PI SCLK to SCK
PI D5 to SS
and SEL0 and SEL1 are both closed or soldered
but I have the busy led always on I do not know why and the PN532 is not detected.
