When using the USB-C MicroLipo charger (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4410), what are the breakout pads for?
Is this strictly a charger, or can I use this to both charge and discharge my battery?
I want to make a fully enclosed project that runs off of an internal battery that you can charge via USB-C, but I’m unsure whether I can use this charger for that purpose.

You can connect your load to the GND and BAT breakout holes. If your project requires USB communication as well, the D+ and D- data lines are broken out also.

The BAT pin is connected to the lipo so it should be OK to use if the device you plan to power can take a fully charged battery.
