Trigger for Audio FX Sound Board
Hello, I am not sure if I'm in the right place but hopefully I am. My question is in regards to the Audio FX Sound Board. I am wanting to purchase one but I need to use a motion sensor as a trigger. Can you tell me if this would work as a trigger? Thank you in advance for your reply.

What type of motion sensor did you have in mind? A break-beam sensor would interface directly. A PIR sensor would need in inverting circuit to trigger the Fx. Vibration sensors might need a pulse stretching circuit. And accelerometers would need a microcontroller in the mix.

A break beam is what I was thinking. So that should work without any mods?

Yes. The break-beam sensors have an open-collector output which gets pulled LOW when the beam is broken. So it is perfect for triggering a sound on the Fx.
