Snake eyes bonnet

Post by lpflepsen »

I am trying to install the software needed for eyes to work but have not been able to download. Just keep getting 0. I am hooked up to internet and have os lite installed. I have watched videos and read directions many times but continue with same results of 0.

What model Pi are you using?

Which step of the setup is not working?

My screens have power but there is no picture on either. If I plug pi 3+ back into monitor eyes show up. What do I need to do to fix problem?

Thanks for the photos. I think unfortunately the issue here is the soldering. And the Animate Eyes Bonnet has a fair amount of soldering required. We have a guide here that covers soldering and common issues:
https://learn.adafruit.com/animated-sna ... spberry-pi

You'll want to go back through all yours pins and see if you can reflow them (don't add any new solder). This project is pretty unforgiving when it comes to soldering. There are lots of connections and they all have to be good.

Ok. It is our first time soldering. We watched so many videos but will keep trying!
