USB C Jack to USB C Jack Faceplate (Power, Video & Network)

Post by marcgeorgiou »

Hi there,

Hoping you can help to clarify the capability of the Model 4261 USB C Jack to USB C Jack Round Panel Mount Adapter.

I am planning to use this in a project for Power, video and network connectivity over single faceplate receptacle. Unsure whether your product has the capability to transmit both power and video/data together.
The power capability would need to be >65w.

If this is not the correct model, Do you have another model that would be suitable for my application?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Best,

    Marc

    Marc,

    Good question.

    All USB-C cables / connectors must carry a minimum of 20v x 3A.

Product #4261 does not specify a USB version so it might be slower than our #4218 USB-C panel mount which is USB 3.1 compliant. If you can use #4218 it seems like a safer move to know you are getting USB 3.1 and a cable that can be flipped orientation wise.
