Best microphone for my project (smart doorbell)

Post by lonelobo0070 »

I'm trying to make my own smart doorbell. But I'm not sure wich of the microphones is best to use in this project.
I will use a Raspberry pi zero for it.

I found out that there are three different micro:
- Adafruit I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout - SPH0645LM4H
- Electret Microphone Amplifier - MAX4466 with Adjustable Gain
- Electret Microphone Amplifier - MAX9814 with Auto Gain Control

Wich microphone do you suggest for a smart doorbell?

I would use the I2S SPH0645LM4H with a Pi Zero W as we have the most detailed guide for using this mic with a Pi.
