Our concern is regarding the power supply of the electrical solenoid lock, the mentioned supply voltage in datasheet is 9V-12VDC where the electrical lock is not operating at 9VDC, kindly provide your support in order to power this electrical solenoid from 9VDC.
Screen shot of specification is as shared below.

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
What are you using to supply 9v power to the solenoid?

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
Yes, in the specification in below link says, it can be power between 9VDC to 12VDC.

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
A standard 9v DC battery is not capable of supplying the 0.5A needed to actuate the solenoid. You will need to find a power source capable of delivering more current.
If battery operation is required, a 6xAA battery pack will provide ample current at 9v. https://www.adafruit.com/product/248

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
My design is based on standard 9VDC, I have already completed the design, Im really to say that the above product is hard to use In my design, if you can suggest me supply which is like *GETUP* battey 9VDC please suggest.

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
I don't see a datasheet for that particular battery. But most common 9v batteries have relatively low capacity and a high internal resistance. So when you present it with an 18 ohm load like the solenoid lock, the actual voltage delivered to the load will drop well below 9v. They are typically rated for no more than a 50mA discharge rate.*GETUP* battey 9VDC
You can find lithium 9v cells (e.g. Energizer Ultimate Lithium) rated for up to 1A discharge rate. These are the same size as a standard 9v cell.

Hi,
Really thanks for the support but I need something like below.

Re: Electrical Lock solenoid
The 9v Energizer Ultimate Lithium as suggested above is exactly the same form factor as a standard 9v battery.
