Hello,
I am working on a project where I am putting lights inside a vase. I am limited in size, so I need to go small. I know for a fact that I can fit a Trinket M0 inside, and so that is the board I am looking at. My concern is powering it. I was thinking about soldering a JST connector on the bottom and connecting a lipo battery. So this leads me to three questions:
1) Am I able to charge the lipo battery from the trinket or would it have to be charged externally then connected?
2) Is the trinket M0 able to power a NeoPixel ring with 12 pixels.
3) If there is a problem with either previous question, what would be a good alternate recommendation?
portable and rechargeable boards

Re: portable and rechargeable boards
1) The Trinket does not have a charger on-board. The Feather boards all have chargers, but are a bit larger. The other option would be to add one of the micro-lipo chargers https://www.adafruit.com/?q=micro+lipo&sort=BestMatch
2) the Trinket is not a power supply. The LiPo would be powering the pixels. LiPo cells come in many sizes and the capacity will determine how many and how bright you can run your pixels. You can find some good information about efficient battery usage for Neopixels here: https://learn.adafruit.com/sipping-power-with-neopixels
