That's fine, but for now we are troubleshooting. So need to figure out where the bad connection is. Simplifying the wiring connections will help with that. Please try restaging the setup and wiring directly from main board to TFT.

Thanks. Can't see exactly where things are connected on backside of TFT, but seems OK.
And you're running the same example sketch?
Try tieing in the RESET pin and see if that helps:

Can connect to the UNO's reset pin. Then, with the example sketch loaded, press reset on the UNO. That'll reset both the TFT and the UNO and re-run the sketch.

Yes I used the same sketch as before.
Unfortunately it still didn't help - I tried using the method you described.

OK, we can try a replacement and see if it helps. Please connect the replacement in the same fashion - direct wiring per the guide:
https://learn.adafruit.com/2-2-tft-disp ... ino-wiring
and running the test sketch:
https://learn.adafruit.com/2-2-tft-disp ... 2978724-10
to verify the TFT works as expected upon arrival.
Send an email to [email protected] with a link to this thread and your order number and they can send you a replacement TFT.
