Need Help With Identifying Screws Used for a Particular Prod

Post by PessCity »

Hello,

I am currently using the Peltier Thermo-Electric Cooler Module+Heatsink Assembly - 12V 5A (product ID: 1335) and want to unscrew the Peltier unit off the heat sink and cooling fan temporarily to put on a 3D printed assembly so I can keep microfluidic lines snug between the 3D printed part and the Peltier cooling side. To do this, I need to remove the screws from the top and their respective black collars and replace them with longer screws that I will purchase.

What are the sizes of these screws and the respective black collar size that is on this part? I have attached a file circling the screw I am referencing (in green). Thank you!

The pad is a thermally conductive electrical insulator foam, and will probably be secured to the Peltier module by the thermal adhesive visible along the long side in the photo above. They won't have any critical dimensions.

The bolts holding the Peltier module down will be a standard size, but I don't know it offhand. I'll have someone check.

we dont have documentation for that part - its not meant to be removed. but its *probably* M2.5 or M3 or M4 - metric, not imperial!
