I am using an adafruit fx soundboard, 16mb, as the basis for a custom horn for my boat. In addition to the fun sounds I would like to use, like a machine gun etc., I need a regular horn. By "regular horn", I mean one that sounds when you push a button and stops sounding when you release it. Boat horn signals are a combination of long and short blasts. The wave files that are triggered by a button press play a pre recorded file.
How can I add a regular horn button that sounds the horn when the button is pressed and immediately stops when the button is released?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Help with a horn project
Dave,
Thanks for that info. It looks like the "hold looping trigger" is just what I need.
