Hello!
From the FT232H Application Note AN_114, it appears that the chip select pin must be multiplexed in order to address multiple slaves. Based on the information stated through out the adafruit FT232H breakout board tutorials, it appears that you may select any digital pin as the chip select, rather than the D3 pin on the latest revision. Are you able to set up multiple slaves, simply through the use of these digital output pins? Defining each slave with a separate digital output pin? I understand this could be a misunderstanding of the FT232H datasheet and the adafruit schematic, so I appreciate your patience with my question here.
Thanks!

Yes.Thrill16 wrote:Are you able to set up multiple slaves, simply through the use of these digital output pins?
Also yes. That's how SPI allows a microcontroller to use multiple devices connected to the same MOSI, MISO, and CLK lines.Thrill16 wrote:Defining each slave with a separate digital output pin?
