Powering RPI4 from car

Post by F4u5T »

Hello,
I need to power a RPI from my car and I'm having issue with stable operation.
I am currently using this

regulated 5vdc 10 amp power supply - but I'm thinking maybe electrical noise it causing issues.

I would like to find a power bank that could handle the RPI4, and then the car could charge the bank.
Does that sound plausible?
Is there a powerbank that can do 3amp?

Is there a Hat that would be better suited for this?

The PowerBoost 1000C with a 6600mAh battery pack would provide clean battery power and regulated LiPo charging.

You could stepdown the automotive 12v with a DC/DC buck.
