Battery powering a project

by jdubrow on Wed Jan 26, 2011 12:16 am

I'm building a project that is based on an Arduino. I want to have it battery powered and have it so I can charge it while running as well as have the Ardunio know that it is being charged as well as determine the current charge on the battery for alerts (not needed while charging), etc. Are there circuits or information on how to do this? I assume I need a 5+V battery; and a 3.3v lipo won't work?
