Here is one that I've been working on, it contains an 8mhz Trinket, 2x neopixel jewels and a bit of silicon wire.

The neck is hard drive platters, the sides are drive heads, and the top the motors. A little tubing helps even out the Giger-esq look. The skull is a candy dish from Amazon, and the "plate" is just a cut-up aluminum sign (cheap way to get thin aluminum sheets).

I'm still thinking of what to do with the base (from an old barcode scanner), but I might just cover it with fabric. I'm also working on what I want the eyes to "do", but I omitted any sort of sensors as another box will most likely contain an AudioFX board and PIR sensor. My buddy said I should use a sonic sensor and have the eyes glow brighter as a subject approaches...maybe I need to build another.
