I am trying to get a board that does the following:
1. Has a connection for a battery, a battery charger, a usb port, and wiring.that connects back at the place.
2. Has a switch that goes to either the wiring or the usb port or both.
3. and then before the wiring has 3 different sets of resistors with another switch to chose which resistance to use before going into the wiring. With the resistor sizes of about 46.7, 31.1, and 23.36. The resistor size can differ by a little but hopefully around this size.
Please help me! I did all the calculations but I don't know how to make the final product. The circuit/breadboard with all the connections.
Thanks!

Re: Help with connections
It would help if you could post a diagram of the circuit you are trying to build.

Re: Help with connections
Okay, I attached the image. Its really basic because I don't really know how to draw an actual image. I did my best from the knowledge that I have.

Re: Help with connections
OK. So you have a USB charger and a battery. Then a set of 3 resistors. What is on the other side of the resistors?

On the other side of the resistors I have wires that heat up when a current is run through them.adafruit_support_bill wrote:OK. So you have a USB charger and a battery. Then a set of 3 resistors. What is on the other side of the resistors?

Re: Help with connections
Looks like you will need a rotary switch to select the resistor path to use. But you need to know the current level. You will need to select a switch that is rated for DC current at that level or greater.

The current will have a max of .1583A and a minimum of .0792A.adafruit_support_bill wrote:Looks like you will need a rotary switch to select the resistor path to use. But you need to know the current level. You will need to select a switch that is rated for DC current at that level or greater.

So most any rotary switch will do. We do not carry any here. Mouser or DigiKey will have a large selection to choose from.

Okay cool, I will look into them. Will this cover everything?adafruit_support_bill wrote:So most any rotary switch will do. We do not carry any here. Mouser or DigiKey will have a large selection to choose from.

As far as I can tell from your diagram. Will this cover everything?

Re: Help with connections
Like my biggest problem is I need places to connect them all. Like I need a circuit board to connect everything and that's where I am having difficulty. I don't know how to make one that has the connections that I need. And I can't find something on the website that does the same thing. Is there any way you could help me find the parts to use a usb connection and a way to charge the battery in one circuit board? Like does that exist with adafruit or do I have to create it?adafruit_support_bill wrote:As far as I can tell from your diagram. Will this cover everything?

Re: Help with connections
We have batteries, chargers with USB jacks and prototyping boards. You would need to assemble the parts yourself. I don't know of any off-the-shelf board that has everything yo are looking for,

Okay, could you help me locate the prototyping boards and the parts that I need for the USB charger. I already have the battery picked out, I just need help finding the other stuff.
