extend Spy Camera for Raspberry Pi

Your only real option is to solder the end of the flex cable to one of these: https://www.adafruit.com/products/2143

It isn't as bad as it sounds. If you tin all the pads on both cables, lay them on top of each other, and drag a soldering iron across, all the pads should connect.

Soldering one flex cable to another as an extension would reverse the pinout, unless the cables were placed one on top of another, the top one slightly offset along the length. Then some kind of fold to turn them into an extension?

I'd personally be more tempted to either use a premade PCB for a surface mount flex socket as a joiner, try to put two flex sockets on a joiner board... or just use a USB camera.

Hi,
I would like to know if you have Flex CSI Cable for Raspberry Pi Camera in rolls available. We would need a length of about 6 m for an application at CERN. Cannot find such lengths anywhere (the max is 2-3 m) . Using other cables distorts the image and we don't want to solder many small lengths of Raspberry Pi cable.
