Clue board arrived damaged

Post by AndiBanana »

I recently ordered 20 CLUE boards for my classroom and when we were adding the acrylic cases, we noticed this little button (circled in red) was popped off of the component (at the blue arrow). Is this something that will affect the performance and needs to be returned? Is it cosmetic or can it be popped back on. We still put it in the case and it loaded the software aand everything seems ok, but I want to make sure I can return it while still in the warranty window

That looks like the housing for the speaker/buzzer:

It *may* be cosmetic, since it's just the plastic housing. You can try running an example that uses the speaker to test. If it seems OK, could then glue the housing back in place.

But it also should not have arrived like that. So we can replace it. And can use that one as a spare :)

Send an email to [email protected] with a link to this post and they can send you a replacement CLUE board (PID 4500).
