Current version of bootloader for new CPB devices ?

Post by billbreit »

I have an old version of the bootloader on my CPB, 0.2.11. I worked through the bootloader manual install procedure using adafruit-nrfutil and the Arduino IDE on Windows. After several efforts. I eventually got a device not responding / time out error. The device is still working at this point and I'm getting nervous about using strong-arm tactics and bricking it.

My bootloader is very old, info is:

UF2 Bootloader 0.2.11-8-g2c13fd5-dirty lib/nrfx (v1.1.0-1-g096e770) lib/tinyusb (legacy-755-g55874813) s140 6.1.1
Model: Adafruit Circuit Playground nRF52840
Board-ID: nRF52840-CircuitPlayground-revD
Date: Jul 13 2019

Does anyone know the current version of the bootloader being shipped on new CPB devices ? I would rather work with CP 7.3.2 on the old one and get a new one for CP9 than brick the old one. Is this a sales support question ?

The latest is 0.8.3. See the box in the bottom right of https://circuitpython.org/board/circuit ... bluefruit/.
