Adafruit 1.2" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display

Post by sethzarny »

If I purchase the Adafruit 1.2" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display Red, and the backpack as separate items, will that give me everything provided in the Adafruit 1.2" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/I2C Backpack? You are out of the combined Adafruit 1.2" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/I2C Backpack. Thank you.

That should do the job. To play it safe I'd 'get one of the displays listed as an add-in on the backpack product page.

Will these 2 parts work with a Raspberry Pico?

It's I2C so it should work with anything with an I2C bus (assuming no address conflicts). That includes the Pico. I haven't heard of this chip having a badly behaved I2C implementation.
