Help! light saber construction

Post by Shatfield123 »

My students are designing lightsabers in Autodesk Fusion. We have started printing them out. We will drill out a hole or do whatever we need to do but I want the students to add circuitry for lights and sound effects. Can someone give good instructions on how I can do this for 60 students fairly inexpensive? I have CTE funds to use. I'll attach a students design that we just sliced and printed. I feel like I need direct instruction on adding the circuitry.

There are several lightsaber projects on learn.adafruit.com: https://learn.adafruit.com/search?q=lightsaber

You should be able to get some ideas from them.

Generally the electronics installation would be included in the design before the object is printed.
