Mini power meter non operational

Post by nicol1 »

Mini Power Meter with Voltage, Current, Watts, mAh & mWh Display
Product ID: 3624

I've attached the power meter to a 5.1 V power supply directly. I've also tried attaching to the JST connector with no success. What can I do to confirm it's operation?

Thanks much.

Looks like you are connected to V(-)IN and V(-)OUT which are the (GND) references for your input and output terminals. I think you want the red wire to go to V(+)IN and your black wire to go to V(-)IN. That is your input voltage. Then anything you want to drive off that go to the V(+/-)OUT terminals.

Thanks much Timeline. You hit the nail on the head. I was obliviously confused. Did need to connect with the JST power supply since I'm measuring tiny power outputs.

Appreciate your help!
