New to Arduino and Sensor Prototyping

Hello,

I am new to this whole electronics prototyping things. I am looking to prototype and idea using some basic sensors and an Arduino startup kit. How would I connect this sensor (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4502) to an Arduino starter kit breadboard? Do I need to solder header pins to the sensor and then connect it to the breadboard that way?

You could use the STEMMA-AT connectors along with https://www.adafruit.com/product/4209 to connect it to the breadboard. No soldering required.
