Beagle Bone Black not working on arrival

Post by Lb1073 »

Hi there,
My Beagle Bone Black arrived on Tuesday. I've ordered it for my Kulp K32A-B to control lights. I've plugged it into the pins of the Kulp and turned the device on, and the Beagle Bone doesn't turn on. I've plugged it into a 5V DC power supply after as well and it still won't turn on. I'm wondering if I'm able to get help or a replacement board.

When I press the power button a blue LED flashes for just a moment.

How are you determining the Beagle is not turning on? Are you connecting a monitor or monitoring serial output?

Also - it's best to test the basic functionality of the Beagle before attaching any external hardware like the Kulp K32A-B.

Beagle's getting started info is here:
