Hi everyone! I recently bought ahttps://www.revopoint3d.com/products/3d ... ner-metrox and I plan to use it to start doing some DIY reverse engineering projects. I am very interested in this technology and want to use it to scan some objects and then use the scans to 3D print or modify existing designs. The goal is not only to do some creative projects, but also to learn more reverse engineering skills.
I am still in the exploration stage, especially how to better process scan data and how to use them with 3D modeling software. If you have similar experience or skills, whether it is about hardware selection, scanning optimization, or how to import and edit data, please share! Any suggestions are helpful.
Looking forward to everyone's experience sharing and playing reverse engineering together!
