The caster wheels I bought a while ago do not rotate smoothly. It is rough and sometimes catches, especially when compared to the casters (other brand, which is significantly smoother) I have used previously. Is there any way to make the bearing rotate smoother?

Those are pretty simple. Just a plastic wheel on a metal axle. So there could be some stiction between the wheel and the axle.
What are you using them on? How heavy is it?

Is the issue with the rotation of the caster on the base plate, or the rotation of the wheel around its axis?
