Strange Playground Note editor behavior

Post by SamBlenny »

The Playground note editor is acting weird. I've noticed 3 distinct unusual behaviors as I try to enter a note tonight:

1. Media uploader gets stuck on the spinning box "media uploading please stand by" screen when I try to upload a jpeg

2. When I make a new Text, Code, or Alert block, or when I click an existing block to edit it, the editor window opens with the contents of of the block which was previously open in the editor. For example, suppose I edit text block 1, save it, then create a new block (block 2), but the editor of block 2, instead of starting blank, will open with the text of block 1!). If I open a block, click cancel, then open the same block again, the editor opens with the correct text (blank for new blocks, or the correct text for existing blocks).

3. Intermittent red error banners at the top of the browser window saying something about how there was error during saving, I should back up my changes, try again, etc. When those happen, reloading the page removes the banner. I didn't notice any lost text, so I don't know what it was upset about.

Thank you for your report. I deployed a few updates that have hopefully fixed these issues.

Thank you for all your notes!

Thanks! Image upload seems to be working great now.
