AC to DC power supply for Pico

Post by gedelmann »

I was wondering what you are using for a AC to DC power supply to drive a Pico, other than a wall mount adapter. I have used Mean Well RS-15-5 Power Supply in quite a few project, and it worked well. But it's a bit too bulky for my current project. Are there any more compact alternatives ?

If you don't want a 'wall wart' style supply, search for "USB Desktop Charger". These come in a wide range of sizes and power ratings. The Pico itself needs less than 1 Watt.

This one is interesting https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... 5/16022262 but is only for 120Vac input; does not support 220/240V. Output is a USB-C so you only need a short USB-C to USB-micro cable to your Pico. It is UL rated.
