Is it possible to transpose a pattern and save it to a different slot, either in pattern or as a transposed pattern saved in a chain?
I'm interested in setting up automatic bass line: pattern 1 x 4, 1 x up a third x2, pattern 2, Pattern1 etc.

I just got my first xoxbox, a used one from xoxshop.de. It will make a perfect companion to my mc-202. I'll be using it as a slave, along with the 202, a hardware sequencer and 2 drum machines. I've got the RE-20 and Proco Rat for effects. SammichSID is also joining the party to complete my live setup (for now - it's never complete of course!).

I'd been doing a lot of reading up before it arrived, and from that I knew the first thing to do was load sokkOS 2.0. I didn't even try the original firmware. I've nothing much to say as yet except a big thank you for creating sokkOS. By the way, is this the right place to post feature requests? I haven't thought of one yet, in fact still trying out all the features that are there, but surely will do at some point.

cheers

idea:

how about controls - eg: 'incidence'(?) - somewhere to
regulate the density of events generated by randomize?
ie: density of slides, of accents, of gates
ie: how many slide/acc/gate events you end up with in your run.

you don't need slides to occur as often as gates or accents,
at least, so it would be nice to have a knob to turn, or a value
to input numerically, prior to hitting random - maybe it would be
quite separate from the firmware..how does the random work?

i have something in SE here where i can set a threshold - it is a
simple comparator thing that filters out lower values, so it only
hits when a higher-than value comes in. and i have analogue control
over the compare value, so i can dial in the density of randomization
results.
just an idea.. :(
