Hi,
i just cant find any gerber files for the WaveBubble 2010.
Could someone send me some or link me to them?
On the website there are only target 3001 files but you
cant create gerber files with the freeware version (as the pads/pins are too many on the main board)
Would really appreciate it in case someone could create the gerbers for me or link me to some eagle files.
Thank you a lot in advance :)

Re: PCBs/files for WaveBubble 2010
I see you have posted the same question in multiple places so I am just going to answer here. On April 13th Nils uploaded a version of the WB2010 that he used with dirtypcb.com, he claims to have extra boards and encourages anyone that wants to purchase boards these to contact him. Since that was less than a month ago he might still have some boards left. I downloaded the file, it appears to be intact, but I only gave it a cursory glance. Since Nils claims that it is the WB2010 and its' silkscreen says WB2010 along with the fact that it has the signature square vias I am inclined to believe it is in fact the WB2010. His post, two down from this one at the time of this writing, can be found here: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=66208
It might be worth checking to see if wtfwtfdef still has his disabled boards: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=67610
This is an extremely advanced project that takes a significant amount of time researching, trouble shooting problems, and tracking down the various sources of information. You can expect to spend a large amount of time simply trying to find information and looking stuff up. You will not find a kit or a color-by-numbers way to assemble a wave bubble. It took several months for me to complete mine. There is a wealth of information on the forums here. One must simply search for it, but a good start is the "Useful Links" post by lcstyle: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.ph ... ne#p117072

There are other build thread/diaries, but the pics are down so I haven't linked them. Good luck

Re: PCBs/files for WaveBubble 2010
thank you so much for your very informative and valuable post :)
I already made a post in Nils thread.
I would like to attempt the build by myself as im focused a lot more on the learning proccess as
on the final outcome product so im not interested in the disabled baords, but thank you for
pointing that out :)
Do you know if the part list listed on the WB 2010 wiki page is complete and up to date with the
revisions?
Thank you so much for your time :)

Re: PCBs/files for WaveBubble 2010
I did not build the 2010 version so I am not sure if the BOM is correct. I can tell you that the RC1a BOM was not correct. Some places were wrong when it came to product code: listing an SOIC24 chip instead of a SOIC14. While other places list the same component more than once or list the wrong package size, 0603 instead of 1206.
What might be easiest would be to split the project into sections. This would give you the opportunity to identify the components required for each area as well as verify each portion is working properly once you have complete that particular section. You will wind up paying more in shipping this way, but in the end it might be more manageable; at least it was for me.
