Arduino Due Adafruit MPR121

Post by Jarob700 »

Hi,

I'm new to Arduino and am having problems with the Arduino Due and the Adafruit MPR121. Using the latest downloads from Arduino for the Due I'm getting the following:

After an I2C test-

"I2C Scanner
Scanning...
I2C device found at address 0x5A !
done"

However after running the MPR121 test I receive-

Adafruit MPR121 Capacitive Touch sensor test
MPR121 not found, check wiring?

I understand it may have something to do with the wire library and have updated to a newer wire library and am still encountering the same problems. I've also used forum suggestions for using an older Adafruit_mpr121 file. Any suggestions about how to get the sensor to work. Please include references (web sites, etc.)as they are great source of learning.

Thanks
