This pretty much sums it up:
http://media.djmania.es/manuales/pdf/Mo ... glish).pdf

the rest (2.0 update features) is listed in first post here:

Any chance that the midi coming out is that same as the CV out. Eg include slide.

Cheers
You cant "slide" with midi
midi is note based, note on, note off.. thats all it can do.
A crazy possibility is using pitch bends but...
have wondered about sending a portamento on/off message :)
early! :) (or would that be late?)

Sorry if this is the wrong way of submitting suggestions, please redirect me if they are appropriate somewhere else or this has already been answered.

I'd like to sync up my Korg monotribe to my x0xb0x via miditribe. However, since the monotribe uses 12p instead of 24p, the monotribe is limited to half a bar, and the "half tempo" option of the monotribe does not affect the playback speed when synced via MIDI.

Is there any chance of a midi clock multiplier/divider option for MIDI Clock Out for such use-cases for the future?

actually the monotribe does use 24p, but its only 8 steps, with steps messed in in between to make it 16 steps ;)

n0nx0x2 has a mode to use pins of the 2561 cpu to output triggers, which effectively syncs a monotribe, a similar trick should be possible in sokkos (when you use the 2561 cpu). In n0nx0x you can choose the amount of pulses sent out so it could be half speed, double speed, etc..
note: this is when sending clock pulses straight from free pins of the cpu, has nothing to do with midi, and you dont need miditribe for it, just the basic sync I/O of the monotribe

what about sending a portamento on/off message:

http://www.gmarts.org/index.php?go=321

nb:?
"Portamento Control

Number: 84

A Portamento Control message (in conjunction with a MIDI note number) is used to indicate the starting note of a portamento (whereby one note slides into the next rather than having the second note immediately follow the first). The slide rate will be set by the Portamento Time (Controller 5), and the current status of the Portamento On/Off (Controller 65) is ignored."

there's #65 portamento(GS) #84 portamento control(GS) #5 portamento time
#84 > is that how the x0x slide works? slide from selected step?
i've never tried sending portamento on messages with MIDI, does it produce
a usable result?

Is the "fast edit mode" not working in 2.0 anylonger? (replaced by the triplets on/off)

Seems like Transpose isn't working in neither Pattern Play or Track Play? I am pushing Down and Up while playing and nothing happens.

hodling UP or DOWN only shows the current pitch-shift via the keyboard LEDs
to actually change it you have to also press a pitch Key

Hi all,

I am new to xoxbox, but I was curious why I see alot of new xoxbox advertised as running Sokkos 1.9.x instead of Sokkos 2.0?

Just curious if there is some reason why Sokkos 2.0 is not being used by the latest machines?

Also does anyone have a valud link to the full manusl of everything (including the 2.0 changes/fixes)?
(The link in a previous post is dead).

probably because the stuff gets copy/pasted around, and those people don't actually follow the forums to be aware of the newer version
